Do people use cell phones too much?

by Shelby

Some people say some people use cell phones way to much. But I think people use the perfect amount on there phones. And how  people forget to talk face to face. And that’s what these paragraph’s are about cell phone.
Lets use my mom for example she’s on her phone sometimes and sometimes she’s on her lap top or she’s spending time with me and my family. That last part is so imported. Because that manes that even throw you think your mom or dad or someone ells never get’s off there phone .They always do so they can spend time with you.
See that’s one reason why I don’t think people spend to much time on the phones.  Hears a secant reason why I think theirs not so many people on there phones. People are on there phones more for buses. There not on there phone to ignore you. Most people think that I do sometimes to.
Here’s the last one I can think of. Some people can’t talk face to face case of the cell phone use. They think that they can taxed or call. People came to hang out sometimes and that’s ok but wouldn’t you rather talk face to face, so you can get your pointe across. Yha texting is faster and easer but if you were talking to your soon to be boss wouldn’t you rather talk face to face. See that’s why you should talk face to face.
So do some people say they use phones to much yes but not as much. Because there off there  phone   and spending time with there family or friend and talking face to face to them.

Forgetting to talk face to face

by Daniel A.

People are forgetting to talk face to face now. Now that there are phones and computers. A couple of ways this has taken affect on our people.

Now that there are phones and computers people can talk from long distances. Teenagers out of everybody are having this affect more than anybody. In a lot of ways phones have helped us but at the same time are hurting us. Now I will now talk about web sites.
Facebook like a lot of web sites has people attached to it. People on these sites blog and reply each other just like texting but instead online. A couple of web sites that are popular are Facebook, twitter, Snap chat, etc. people talk and go on these more than texting. I will now move on to my last thing.
Phones have taken a lot of effect on our life. And farther in the future the will grow more close to us. Even thought we can’t stop using them it would be better just to stop a little. Yes I believe that people are forgetting to talk face to face and are now talking from phone to phone.

Turn the cell phones off!

Everyday people are talking or texting are cell phones. Parents want to stop them from doing that, but they won’t listen. Here are some tips to stop them from texting.

Tell them to text there friends to meet at the mall or other places. They could talk in person and can not text each other. They could shop and eating together. When they are tired, they could go home and do that tomorrow. This is a way to stop them from texting.

Another good way is to invite them to there house. They could play video games; play in the back/front yard. They could talk and hang out with other friends and eat chips and drink soda. They could also play pool and play on a foosball table. This is another way to stop them from texting.

Another way is to throw a little party. They could hangout at couch and talk and listen to music. They could eat and drink punch. If they have a trampoline, they could jump on it. This is another way to stop them from texting.

THERE ARE MORE IDEAS TO STOP THEM FROM TEXTING. WE NEED TO STOP THEM FROM TEXTING. THEY NEED TO PLAY OR DO ANYTHING BUT TEXT.

Cell Phones

by Christien

Cell phones have become the most common form of communication aside from talking face-to-face today. The question is whether cell phones are actually replacing face-to-face conversation. Is communicating with phones more efficient and healthier than talking one on one?
Have you ever sat next to someone and texted them from right there next to them? If you have then you are definitely not the first. I have in many different situations. It is not very healthy to sit next to someone and text them instead of talking to them verbally.
Cell phones also have physical consequences. For example, if you text for an hour straight your fingers can become cramped, your eyes can hurt from the light of the screen. Some researchers say that Phones can give you brain cancer and other forms of cancer from the radiation it gives off.
If you do then you are one of 87% of Americans that have them. The average American spends about 2.7 hours a day on their phones. That is still less than the average person spends talking a day. Say you speak 15 words a minutes for 5 hours. That’s 4500 word! How many words do you text in a day?
The reality is that phones are not exactly replacing one on one conversations but are causing problems. You should only spend a limited amount of time on it for health reasons.
